Sometimes, you just want to pack your bags and go somewhere without any plans. My impromptu day trip to Jeju Island gifted me with some of the most unforgettable memories. Walking through the quiet alleys without a fixed schedule brought me a sense of true freedom. While strolling leisurely near Sehwa Beach (세화해변), I stumbled upon a small, warm space: an independent bookstore named 'Bookstore Pulssi (책방풀씨)'.

I could feel a strong sincerity from this short introduction written at the entrance. There are many small independent bookstores hidden across Jeju. It's a great opportunity to discover books with a new perspective that you might have easily overlooked in large, commercial bookstores. Though small, the space was richly filled with the owner's taste and devotion.

It’s very different from fancy, large bookstores. However, it was a place where the warmth of the space and the kind heart of the owner were fully conveyed.
